Swingtime

Swingtime is a newly editioned small wood engraving. The image measures 67 x 50mm.

I originally engraved this as a "sketch" for a bookplate I was working on. I kept the block as I was pleased with it and decided that I would edition it as part of a group of small engravings that I am making more widely available.

The image was engraved by hand onto a woodblock. I then inked the block and printed from it onto acid free paper, using an Albion handpress made in 1865. The edition consists of 100 original artist's prints. Each is signed and numbered.
