NEWLY AVAILABLE There are many fine exhibitions of Japanese netsuke in London during May 2013. These tiny carvings are an interest of mine and I was very pleased to be able to be able to attend the convention of the International Netsuke Society. This engraving features three netsuke against a fragment of a map of Japan. You can read about the creation of this print HERE. The portfolio consists of an engraved title page, one page of text, twelve signed engravings printed from the original woodblocks in Albion handpresses (made in 1865 and 1902) and a colophon page. The sheets are housed in a handmade portfolio covered with hand marbled paper. The edition is limited to 100 portfolios.
