"Goldfinches" is a small wood engraving.
These glorious birds visit our garden to feed on he seed that we leave for them. I drew this in Spring and you can see the tulips flowering in the background.
It was engraved by hand and printed using a Victorian handpress in an edition of 100 original prints.
The engraving measures 5 x 5cm (2 x 2 inches) and it is printed on a piece of smooth printmaking paper just below A5 size.
