Nightingale Walk

"Nightingale Walk" is one of my larger wood engravings, shows a Nightingale singing in a glade of trees and Spring flowers. The image measures 14.4 x 8.3cm (5.75 x 3.25 inches) with a minimum of 4cm margins all round.
This original artist's print was engraved onto wood by hand and printed from the original woodblock using a Victorian Albion handpress.
The artist has printed 100 signed and numbered engravings on smooth slightly creamy white Zerkall printmakig paper.
